Part 1:3 | Love the Lord God | Gospel Living

This session of Formed by the Gospel centers on Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 22 and its roots in Deuteronomy 6, where God calls His people to love Him with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. We’ll look at how Jesus not only affirms this command as the greatest, but fulfills it through His own life of perfect love and obedience to the Father. Rather than reducing love for God to emotion or religious effort, this session shows how the gospel reshapes our loves from the inside out. As Christ’s finished work takes hold, loving God becomes a whole-life response that shapes our desires, priorities, and daily obedience.
