AWANA club at trinity church

AWANA is our Tuesday night program for kids aged 3 years old to 6th grade. Through the AWANA curriculum, kids will memorize scripture, earn badges, and grow into a deeper relationship with Jesus as they go through their AWANA books. You can read all about their curriculum by CLICKING HERE!

AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed and comes from the key verse 2 Timothy 2:15:
"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."

We meet on Tuesday nights from 6:00-7:45 in the Impact Center @ Trinity Church. Our ministry year begins in September and ends in March.

Doors open - 5:45pm.
Opening Ceremony begins - 6:00pm.
Closing Ceremony ends - 7:45pm.

  • Register your children for the 2026–2027 AWANA season (Cubbies, Sparks, and Truth & Training).

  • Meet leaders and volunteers who will be walking alongside your kids this year.

  • Pick up handbooks, uniforms, and supplies for club nights.

  • Learn about new initiatives like Prayer Pals and special theme nights.

  • Tour classrooms and game areas so your child feels at home before the first club night.


💳 Payments may be made by cash, check, or card. Card payments will be available in the AWANA office beginning Registration Night and at any time after.


📖 Parents will also receive the AWANA Parent Handbook, which includes important policies, safety information, and details about this year’s schedule. Parents will be asked to review and sign the acknowledgement form.

Molly Budzynski

Ministry Director
As AWANA Commander, Molly provides leadership and vision for the entire ministry, equipping volunteers, supporting families, and helping every aspect of club night run smoothly. She works alongside an incredible team to coordinate planning, encourage leaders, and create an environment where children are known, loved, and challenged to grow in their relationship with Christ. Her passion is to see every clubber develop a lifelong love for God's Word while partnering with families to build a strong foundation of faith.

Nicole Fleming

Secretary
Nicole serves as our AWANA Secretary, faithfully working behind the scenes to help every club night run smoothly. With a heart for ministry and an eye for detail, she manages club records, prepares awards, and keeps our materials organized so leaders can focus on building relationships with clubbers. Her dedication and servant's heart play an essential role in creating a well-organized, encouraging environment where children can grow in their knowledge and love of God's Word.

Ian Vance

Large Group Director
Ian serves as our Large Group Leaders, bringing creativity, enthusiasm, and a deep love for the Lord to every club night. Through engaging Bible lessons, memorable skits, and interactive teaching, he helps Sparks and T&T clubbers connect with God's Word in meaningful and lasting ways. Ian's dynamic approach captures kids' attention while faithfully pointing them to Christ, making Large Group a fun, impactful part of the AWANA experience each week.

Amy Vance

Cubbies Director
Amy brings years of experience and a joyful heart to our Cubbies ministry, where she serves our youngest clubbers (ages 3–5). Through energetic worship, engaging Bible lessons, interactive games, and hands-on activities, she helps preschoolers discover God's love in ways they can understand and enjoy. Amy's warm, encouraging spirit creates a safe and nurturing environment where little ones can begin building a strong foundation of faith while having fun each week.

Do you love Jesus and have a heart for helping kids grow in their faith?

 Our Sparks Director leads our Kindergarten–2nd grade clubbers in a fun, welcoming environment filled with Bible teaching, Scripture memory, games, and meaningful relationships.

No previous AWANA experience is required—just a heart for children and a desire to make an eternal impact!

Jessica Johnson

T&T Co-Director
Jessica leads our Truth & Training (T&T) Girls classroom with enthusiasm and a heart for discipleship. She loves helping girls discover the truth of God's Word, encouraging them to ask questions, grow in their faith, and develop a lasting relationship with Jesus. Through meaningful conversations, engaging lessons, and genuine encouragement, Jessica fosters a welcoming environment where every girl is challenged to know Christ more deeply and confidently live out her faith.

Lennard Carter

T&T Co-Director
Known endearingly as Mr. Lenny, Lennard leads our Truth & Training (T&T) Boys classroom with wisdom, patience, and a genuine love for seeing boys grow in their faith. He encourages clubbers to dive into Scripture, build meaningful friendships, and discover how God's Word applies to their everyday lives. Through thoughtful teaching, engaging activities, and steady encouragement, Mr. Lenny helps create an environment where boys are challenged to know Christ, grow in character, and have fun along the way.

Barbara Goff

Game Director
Barbara returns this season as our Game Director, bringing enthusiasm, creativity, and contagious energy to every club night. She plans exciting games that encourage teamwork, good sportsmanship, and plenty of laughter while helping clubbers build friendships and enjoy being part of the AWANA community. Her passion for creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere makes Game Time a highlight of the evening, and we're blessed and excited to have her back for another incredible season!

Are you passionate about helping kids grow in their faith and have fun learning God’s Word? Trinity Church’s AWANA Club is looking for dedicated volunteers to make a difference in the lives of children ages 3–12!

Whether it’s leading a small group, assisting in games, or helping with crafts and activities, there’s a place for you to serve. Volunteering with AWANA is a meaningful way to share God’s love, encourage spiritual growth, and build lasting relationships with kids and families.

Volunteer Opportunities Include:
  • Leaders & Helpers – Assist in classrooms with Cubbies, Sparks, or T&T
  • Game and Theme Night Coordinators – Organize and run fun, Bible-based games
  • Support Roles – Help with check-in, crafts, and special events
  • Photography & Video Storytelling – Take photos and short video clips during club nights and events to capture ministry moments. Share content with the Children’s Ministry Director for use on church social media, newsletters, and Sunday updates.
  • Social Media & Congregation Updates – Create engaging posts, recap videos, and photo slideshows to share how God is working through AWANA with the congregation.
  • Prayer Support Team – Commit to regularly praying for clubbers, leaders, and families. May also help with the Prayer Pals ministry.
  • Outreach & Community Connection – Assist in planning and promoting events that invite the community into AWANA, such as registration nights or seasonal activities.
  • Social Media & Congregation Updates – Create engaging posts, recap videos, and photo slideshows to share how God is working through AWANA with the congregation.
  • Prayer Support Team – Commit to regularly praying for clubbers, leaders, and families. May also help with the Prayer Pals ministry.

Getting Started is Easy:

  • Review and sign the Volunteer Agreement
