In this lesson, we continue Part 2 of Formed by the Gospel: Gospel Formed Community by looking at how the Holy Spirit unites God’s people through the diversity of spiritual gifts. In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul reminds the church that unity does not mean sameness. God has intentionally placed different people, gifts, roles, and expressions within the body of Christ for the common good.

This lesson challenges us to resist both pride and insecurity, to stop viewing differences with suspicion, and to see how God uses the full diversity of His people to build up the church. The gospel does not just save individuals; it forms a connected community where every part matters, every gift has a purpose, and the whole body grows as it stays united in Christ.
