1 on 1 Discipleship Prompts

Trinity Family,

During Commitment Month 2022, we have committed to being disciples and to making disciples at Trinity. Pastor Ryan challenged us to find one person and commit to spending one hour a week for six weeks with them to talk about what it means to be a disciple of God. This time is meant to be personal and real. It will stretch your faith and hopefully grow the faith of the one you are talking too. Because it is personal, we are not giving you step by step instructions on how this time should look. Instead, we are asking you to trust the Holy Spirit and the Word of God to direct your conversation. Just like Jesus sent the disciples out with just the clothes on their back, we are sending you. Trust the Holy Spirit who lives in you and the Word of God as God’s truth to guide you.

If you don’t know where to begin (which is sometimes the biggest roadblock), here are some prompts, ideas, and resources that you can use as the Lord leads. The staff of Trinity is also here if you have any questions or just need guidance. The point is, take the first step in faith and your faith to guide you!  God will never leave you nor forsake you along the way. May God richly bless you as you “grow out” in faith as His disciples.
